Black

I seem to be moving into a black phase. For some unknown reason I'm suddenly enjoying using black, a colour I've very seldom used before. This has nothing to do with my frame of mind, I'm liking the way that white and the other colours contrast so vividly with the black.

This tapestry is one of my treasures and hangs in my bedroom. It's not my usual taste but it has great sentimental value as it was made and framed by my late grandmother in the late 1950's.
