Retro eating

As well as my love for retro decor, I have to confess, I have a little thing for retro food photography as well, like these images on my refridgerator door. For some unknown reason these bright, technicolour photo's make me smile inside. In fact, I think they're really funny, in a bizzare, surrealist kind of way. No wonder women of the fifties and sixties never went out to work. Forget chauvinism - if you had to prepare elaborately decorated meals like this, you wouldn't have time for anything else. All I can say is, thank God I live in the now, if I had to present food like this I wouldn't dare to even think about entertaining.
