Secco

These items are by Finnish design collective Secco. The company specialises in making accessories out of recycled items like records and computers. I love what they are doing, especially that they are using old computers. I read an article not too long ago about the problem of electronic waste, a lot of it unfortunately gets dumped in Africa. This is especially a big problem in Nigeria where you see huge mountains of old computers and keyboards in some areas, and apparently its toxic for both people and the environment. (via Dezeen)
