Eccentricity

I haven't done a fashion post for a while, so I decided to take a look at someone who dresses in a most unusual, colourful, way, and that's Italian Vogue fashion writer Anna Piaggi. Whether you like her style or not, you have to admire her courage to be her own person and stand out as an individual. As for me, I love her style, I think it's fun and exciting....but no, I wouldn't dream of following suite, not in a million years. The pictures below are of Anna attending various runway shows. The black and white photo's were taken during the seventies, in the second one she is with Karl Lagerfeld. She was one of his muses and he's produced many fashion sketches of her over the years. Her clothing collection is said to include around 2865 dresses and 265 pairs of shoes, and she never appears in public wearing exactly the same outfit. She is considered to be one of the world's foremost fashion experts, and was the subject of a Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition in 2006. I would so love to see what her house looks like.
