Furo.....what?



The talented and creative Denise from Freshly Found demonstrates the Japanese art of Furoshiki....don't worry I hadn't heard of it either...okay, maybe you have heard of it, anyway...isn't it just lovely! And something that the sewingly challenged among us can realistically attempt. Just scoot on over here to see how Denise did it.

Thanks Bronwyn! I must say now that I have learnt about Furoshiki - there's a few other things I am thinking of wrapping. All those vintage saris that I can't resist buying might land up being wrapped around something.
So good to hear about 8 years! Well done! My daughter starts out in just over 3 weeks time - which will make me a Mother-in-Law!
