New ATC's

I did these ATC's today. This one, Holy Mother, I did the background using an old coloured photograph which I sprayed bleach on and added a thin layer of light brown shoe polish which I melted with a cigarette lighter. I glued on the Mary image and added stars that I punched from an old encyclopedia page and painted with twinkling H2o's.

The two bird ATC's are simple collages. In this one I used patterned paper that I sand papered lightly to give a slight scratchy look and texture. I also sand papered the bird images. I stamped the circles with craft acrylic using the back of an old pen.

In this ATC I also used a stencil for the black swirl which I sanded over for that aged scratchy look. The small circles were stamped with the top of an inner tube that holds the ink inside a cheap plastic pen. I also daubed the background with olive green craft paint using a brush with thickish hard nylon bristles.
